And then the engines roar to life! You’ll be bouncing along dirt roads and forest trails in a convoy. Every corner is a surprise, every jolt a splattering of mud. The muddier you get, the more fun you’ll have.
There is a momentary stop in the middle of the ride. Surrounded by nature, you’ll be able to catch your breath and soak in the adrenalin rush. Expert photographers will be capturing your best moments in the meanwhile.
The vehicles are strong but surprisingly easy to manage. Safety professionals are always around, watching over you every step of the way.

Your hotel pick-up at 9:00 or 15:00 in air-conditioned minibuses is the beginning of your Bodrum buggy safari adventure. Regular daily transfers are provided from hotels in the Ortakent, Bitez, Akyarlar and Turgutreis areas. The transfer buses are for 16 people, and the guides provide short information about the tour during the journey.
Once you reach the safari area, you will be greeted by our experienced personnel. English, German, French, and Russian-speaking guides will briefly explain the rules of safety and course details. Participants’ registrations are done and all the information necessary for the tour is provided to you.
Before the safari starts, you will be given a 5-minute test drive on the Kimco make 200 cc buggy you will be using. Gas control, brakes, steering control, and balancing techniques are all demonstrated thoroughly. Thanks to this preparation, you will start with full control of the terrain conditions.
The first stage comprises a 15-kilometre forest track. The track is completely traffic-free. In this stage, filled with dirt tracks, gentle slopes, and hairpin turns, you will enjoy driving in the midst of nature. Convoys operate in groups of 20 to 30 vehicles; guide vehicles, which operate alongside you during the tour, are positioned at the front, back, and middle.
5–6 shower cabins are found in the safari section. You can wash off the dust and mud from your body after the tour. There is also a cafeteria offering fresh drinks and snacks. Buggy gear such as T-shirts, bandanas, and shoes can be purchased in the section.
In the second stage, the track becomes more rocky and muddy. The speed limit in this section, where you will be testing your driving skill, is 30 km/h. The stage is equipped with winding roads, water crossings, and land obstacles to allow you to utilize your driving skill to the maximum.
After a 1 hour 15 minute safari drive through forest and trails, you return to the starting point. Vehicles are parked, gear is checked, and you can relax in the area.
After the safari, you will be transferred back to your hotel by a transfer that will last for approximately 30 minutes. For the morning tour, the return transfer after the tour ends is around 11:30; for the afternoon tour, the return is around 16:30 to 17:00. You will have spent this excellent day in the natural surroundings of Bodrum.
Pick-up times from the hotel vary depending on the tour session. For the morning session, hotel transfers usually start between 09:00 and 09:30, and for the afternoon session, between 15:00 and 15:30. The transfer takes approximately 40 minutes.
Yes, transfers are provided in air-conditioned minibuses that seat 16 people. You will reach the safari area in comfort and in a short time.
Regular transfers are provided daily from Ortakent, Bitez, Akyarlar and Turgutreis. Transfers are also available from areas such as Yalıkavak, Gündoğan and Türkbükü, provided there are enough participants (at least 4 people).
No, you don’t need a licence to drive a buggy or quad bike. Anyone who can drive can use these vehicles from the age of 16. Younger children can ride in the back under parental supervision.
Yes, upon arrival at the site, a brief briefing is given on safety and driving information. This is followed by a 5-minute test drive to familiarise participants with the vehicle.
All vehicles used in the tour are equipped with Kimko 200 cc engines. The maximum speed is around 30 km/h, but may vary depending on the course and safety conditions.
The total length of the track is approximately 15–16 kilometres. It passes through a special area within the forest that is closed to traffic. The entire ride can take up to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Convoys usually consist of 20 to 30 vehicles. Guides are positioned at the front, middle and rear of each convoy. Spare vehicles also follow the tour, allowing for engine changes if necessary.
There is a 10-minute break in the forest. During this time, you can take photos of the surroundings and have your riding moments captured by a professional photographer. There is also a café where you can buy drinks and food, shower facilities, and a section selling products such as T-shirts, shoes, and bandanas.
After the tour, there is approximately half an hour of preparation time. Then the return to the hotels begins. For the morning session, you will return to your hotel in Bodrum around 12:00, and for the afternoon session, around 18:00.
